Who or what would you trade for Michael Nylander of the Caps?

Due to salary cap issues it would have to result in an equal money exchange or relief to the salary cap issue for Washington.

I'm a Caps fan and I'd hate to see him traded.  Where it's true that we probably don't need him, it's still nice to have him.  With Nylander the Caps can role two second lines both of which will be a h**l of a threat, and if Fedorov or Backstrom gets injured we'll have him to step up.  Instead of what happened last year when Nylander was injured we had to trade for Fedorov.

maybe picks and prospects, if your trying to unload money, then there not going to get an NHL ready player, and nylanders value has gone down due to injury, so id say maybe a 4th rounder and a decent prospect

Nylander is costing the team lots of money for decent production.  The Caps can't be looking to get much in return except for cap room so if anything I would say they garner some young possible talent. Possibly a young 3rd-4th line center, move Federov up to the first or second line.

While I do believe we will see Nylander moved this offseason, it won't be before Sundin makes up his mind about where he is playing.  That changes everything for every free agent and possible trade bait center in the league.

I'd like him to be back on the Rangers, so I'd probably trade Chris Drury. The Rangers aren't going to be too good next year unfortunately, so I'd like to atleast have another decent player on the Rangers.

the caps are not going to trade nylander the cap right now is including the players will most likely end up in hershey, nobody is going anywhere on the caps Mcphee himself said so :"we'll be able to operate with the players we have. We're fine."
