Question:

Who other than me thinks that if it wasn't for clay, nadal wouldn't be as praised as he is now?

Personally, I don't see whats so good about nadal. Of course he is in incredible physical shape with probably enough stamina to play 8 hours, but lets look at his success, he only has a handful of titles on hard court, and a majority if not most of his titles coming on clay. I think hes overrated, and continually loses steam during the later half of the season because of his demanding. What do you think?

  1. personally I think your stupid, nadal has worked his A-- off this year playing every freakin tournament , while Roger sits around with his Saudi buddies up to no good, hasn't played at all , HE SUCKS!!!!!!! GO RAFFA!!!!! FRENCH OPEN

  2. How can you not give him credit for getting to the Wimbledon final the last 2 years, as well as his Masters Series titles in Canada and Madrid (2005) and Indian Wells (2007), all on hard courts?  He's also beaten Federer twice on hard courts (Miami 2004, Dubai 2006) and overall holds a 10-6 edge over Federer.  While Rafa is the undisputed King of Clay, he's also pretty d**n good on all the other surfaces.

  3. unfortunately Nadal has beaten Federer:

2 out of 5 times in hard court

8 out of 9 times in clay court

O out of 2 times in grass court

    which in total games played:

Nadal has 10 games out of 16 against Federer

so No.2 in the world isn't just a fancy name.

  4. no.. he has been good in clay... good in grass as well(making it 2 consecutive finals in wimbledon)... and won other master series... the year has not ended yet.. so lets just see if he'll do good in the grass season and of course in hard courts

  5. Can you become #2 in the world, beat federer, and make millions of dollars all at the same time?

So stop talking nonsense and calling pros 150 times better than you bad.

  6. Nadal plays like an angel on speed.

And should get accolades for that.

Watching him play on clay is worth every moment.

Don't take that away from him.

  7. that's right he's a one court wonder and will soon be ranked number 3 because of it.

  8. No I'm pretty sure Nadal would still be praised because of his consistency on the other courts besides the red clay. Though the french is the only one he's ever won, he's still plays very well on the others. He's been to the wimbeldon finals the last two years and challenged Federer. He's worked to get himself to number 2 in the world and he deserves his recognition as a phenomenal player. Besides that he always shows class on and off the court to other players, which is what makes him so great.

  9. ditto to what everyone else just said- I just wanted to call you an a**hole
