I miss the 50's.  If you think you miss the 90's now, wait a  few decades.

My great grandfather wrote a diary around 1890.  One of his opening lines was how it was better in 1820's or so.  Times were simpler then he said.  This was based on stories handed down to him by his grandfather.

I guess it is a never ending feeling.

50,000 years ago, some caveman was probably lamenting how it was better many, many moons ago.
