Who out there thinks abortion is right?

There are so many "I think abortion is wrong" things out there, but is there anyone who thinks it is right?

I'm pretty much on the fence with it, sometimes it is OK, like if you were attacked or are very young, but otherwise, I think it's cruel.

So, does anyone think it's right?

only if the baby will die anyways when its born or go through pain its whole life. Maybe if you were raped too, but if i were raped i would give the baby up for adoption. Other than those reasons it is not ok to have abortion. Its a heartless and selfish act.

I am pro-choice. It's the mother's right to choose whether she keeps or terminates her pregnancy, and not the governments. Some pro-life people think people who have abortions are cruel and cold-blooded murders but in most cases it is a difficult decision to make and not done hastily like most of them think.

For me personally I think it is wrong. The only way I would ever consider it would be if the doctor could convince me without a shadow of doubt that the baby would live in pain as long as it lived. I would not be able to give birth to a baby knowing it would be in pain. It would not matter to me if it was physically handicapped as long as it wasn't in pain.

If for some reason I did not want to raise a child, under any circumstances, I would give it up for adoption.

I think that everyone has a different situation and just because someone else feels it is wrong and has their own opinions on the matter does not give them right to judge someone else that makes that decision.  Some people have financial strain and bringing a baby into the world is just not a good situation for them.  I guess I feel that everyone knows what is right to do for themselves and for the child and no one has a right to judge that decision, especially if they do not know the person or the reason for the decision.

Morally, I think it is wrong, period.  But that is just my own personal belief.

What kills me is how some people try and justify it. No offence but like you. Why should it be any different if you were attacked or young? Isnt murder always a murder regardless of how it was done? With something like this i believe there can truly be no middle ground.

to take a human life shouldnt be your choice under any circumstance. if u were attacked and raped what would make u any better than the rapist??? everything happens for a reason give the child to a family that cant physically have but want children, its not the childs fault. u would have to deal with the regret for the remainder of you life. i know if i was the child i would choose life and so would you.

difficult question for a man to answer as lets face it , it's the females who have to undergo it.

I have met and worked with  folk who insist abortion in any form is pure murder and no amount of arguing,discussion etc will shift their entrenched views.

Personally I had to agree with the  15 year old virgin who was raped and made pregnant with having an abortion. I simply could not agree that any female should be FORCED to bring up another mans baby  in this manner. There was never-the less a collection to try and fight  to MAKE the  lady carry it through and have the baby.

In a  scientific mode we have arguments that  the fertilized egg is at that time just a collection of cells that are incapable of feeling pain etc up to a certain point in time.

I disagree with the long period of time currently agreed for an abortion as several  aborted foetus have survived and new research show the foetus can feel pain much earlier than thought.

It is not an easy question but  in some cases I do feel that it may in fact be correct to terminate the life of an unborn potential  human. would take too long to give a full answer and I suspect you only want a yes or no really.

i personally dont think it is right at all. I think that the baby deserves to be born whether the mom decides to keep it or give it for adoption. The baby has no voice so it should be at least given the right to be born. If the mom doesn't want it later or something then it can be given for adoption.
