Apparently, it is Synthetic, but worth what you have to pay for it, which, I believe, isn't all that much.

I used to  - it came with my horse and was pretty old ( about 7-8 years old when I got it  - i think it was a Griffin but it was before they were adjustable) it was pretty decent and incredibly easy to clean - I only got rid of it because he changed shape and it didn't fit him.

ive seen them, they are good for pleasure riding, but not really 4 ppl who specilize in a dicipline

I was looking at one today. A tad out of my price range (yeah im cheap XD) and the sales lady couldnt say enough about it. Thats probably her job, but from what i hear, its a great saddle. Worth every penny in my opinion.
