Who owns the rights to Rent the musical?

A local Am Dram society wants to put on a production of Rent & wants to get the appropriate permission from the owner. Please help!

  1. Well I remember Jonathan Larsons parents having the rights but I found this: http://www.mtishows.com/show_home.asp?id...

    seems its under license but whilst being performed, cannot be rented, irony eh!
