Who pays the property tax on a house in a chapter7 bankrupcy?

The house was surrendered to the bank in the bankrupcy,and the people moved out.Who now owns this house ,the bank?Why would the house still be in the peoples name 7yrs later with the city its in?Any help please!

Property tax is due from the property, not a person.  If the owner or someone else doesn't pay the local tax collector can sell it.  If the previous owner has been gone for 7 years, someone has apparenlty dropped the ball at the bank.
