  1. usually the class officers from senior year

  2. The reunion committee. Exactly who is on the committee changes over the years. The first one is usually the senior class officers, but if they don't, anyone who is interested can get the ball rolling.

The economics of renting a banquet hall dining are disheartening. (In the San Francisco Bay Area, at least.) You normally pay more per person for a buffet in a banquet hall than you would in a restaurant to buy a meal off the same quality. This usually leads to resentment, and the reunion committee feels unappreciated, so they resign. The question of a DJ who plays so loud people can't talk rears its ugly head as well.

  3. either class treasurer or secreteary. i cant remember for i was never involved.

  4. the senior class officers...

  5. Usually one of the class officers will plan it but that is not the rule.  ANy one who wants to plan it can.  I was not an officer for my class but I planned the 10 year and now I am planning the 15 year.  For a 10 year it is a good idea to keep it informal.  Maybe ask a local bar & grill for a package with a cash bar and food per person...

  6. There are lots of choices and most of them end up helping.  Often based on who is closest as well.  My husband's class the class president does it.  In my class, a member of the class council is doing it who was drum major of the band.  She's kept up with a lot of people--partly b/c she went to college with many of our graduating class at UNC, whereas the class president and some others went Ivy League or cross country to a place their father went.

Also whoever has the time is asked to take on more.  Some of them are doctors and lawyers now--whereas some of them are housewives with lots of spare time.  They usually end up sending out a list of those in the class they haven't yet found to everyone they have contacted--to try to get more addresses.  Also how big is the graduating class?  In a class of 30-100, perhaps one person may handle it.  But if your class graduated 400, you'll need to get people from each "clique".

In most instances though, it's a group of people who all have access to one email and divide it into one person searching Myspace and Facebook and one person calling parents who still live in the city based on the school's records from when you were enrolled.

  7. Usually the Queen Bee and her posse of drones.

  8. Class clown errrrr Class President and the Officers... Wish you would have voted better now huh??
