  1. He must be an old man.

  2. that's 40 years of playing cricket, he beat the recorrd, is he in the genies book record?  I bet he is.

  3. off course sachin or lara

  4. I'm certain you have asked the exact same question before, so the answer hasn't changed lol! :)

    W. G. Grace played in five decades (1860's, 1870's, 1880's, 1890's, and 1900's).

Ray Illingworth played in four decades (1050's, 1960's, 1970's and 1980's).

  5. Wilfred Rhodes of England played Test cricket in FIVE decades.

Rhodes made his debut in 1899 and played in 2 further Tests in 1899 Ashes, he played 23 Tests in 1900s, another 20 in the 1910s before WW1, he played 7 Ashes Tests in the 1920s and finished his international career with a tour of the West Indies in 1930 playing 4 Tests.

Not suprisingly Rhodes holds the record for Oldest Test Player (52y 165d) and longest career (30y 315d).

Three Test cricketers have played in four decades:

    Sir Jack Hobbs - 1900s, 10s, 20s and 30s

    Frank Woolley - 1900s, 10s, 20s and 30s

    Brian Close - 1940s, 50s, 60s and 70s

    Could Tendulkar become the fourth?

  6. W.G.Grace

  7. well kinney beat me to it, but i was going to say W.G.Grace, tho i wouldnt have thought of Illingworth, i thought Bradman for a minute but he was just short as he played in the 20s 30s and 40s but i think he retired just before the 50s
