i think heath played it alot better he was phenominal it the dark night

Easily Heath. jack stopped before it was life threatening. (yes i know it was an accidental overdose but i like keeping the "his role as joker killed him" hype up.)

Heath Ledger.  Nickelson was good but in a Corney sort of way because the older Batman movies were a bit cheesy.  Heath Ledger was defiantly more menacing because of the intelligence of the character.  His character was a very psychological person that could get into a persons head and that gave him depth and elicited the fear factor.

Heath Ledger ... his character absolutely consumed himself and the performance was nothing short of fantastic. In each of scene of the Joker, I wanted to see just how insane he could get. The phenomenal acting had me wanting to see more.

overall, heaths was my favorite, but Jack was phenomenal too

Jack Nicholson, by far - hands down!!  He's a much more experienced actor than ledger was!

jacks was more comical, but heaths was more psychotic and insane, you can not compare they were just not trying to portray the same "character" in a sense
