well, here's my answer

My first ever card game was duel masters. I played it for 2 years. yes, 2. I managed to redeem this special edition duelmasters box. in it, there were 2 decks and loads of other gifts. and there it was! A Magic: The Gathering starter pack. That was how i learn about Magic. months later, i found out that my classmate plays it. He brought his decks and started teaching me how to play. Yeah, from then on, I went to find out more.. More cards, decks, strategies...

My first deck was Hope's Crusaders.

I started playing since dec 07.

well, i want to play because I find it fun. I love the art. (collecting lands). And I can meet a lot of people! I am a Johnny/Spike & Spike/Johnny and Vorthos.

  1. 1) I started Magic when in Freshman year of High School.

    2) A friend of mine gave me at least a play set of all the commons and uncommons from the Onslaught block (he was a collector).

    3) My first deck was a Goblin deck. I was probably the only person in my group willing to let any of my pawns die without reason ^,^

    4) I like some of the strategy involved in the game. It has definable rules and a large card base. I've devoted most of my deck-building to make decks other than the norm.

    5) I would be a Timmy/Johnny. If the opponent has no clue how you won, it is truly a victory ^.^  I especially like it when I am able to set up a Side-board that completely changes my deck. So game 2, when they sideboard, they have a new foe MWAHAHAHAHA!

  2. 1.) Started at the end of Masque block/ beginning of Invasion Block

2.) Guys at work were playing and I thought it was pretty cool.

3.) Blue/white throw blue and white cards together deck

4.) I play for the fun.  I don't care about winning or losing as long as I have fun.

5.) I am a Johnny.  I learned from a Johnny so I am one.  I do play Spike and Timmy sometimes but I always look for combos even if they are stupid ones (Donate/Grafted Skullcap/Bounce)

    Favorite decks I made:

Gating Assault-(Aluren, Furious Assault, Horned Kavu = Instakill for everyone)

Darkest Day-(Light of Day, Darkest Hour, Aurora Griffin = You can touch me, but I can touch you)

    Elfball-(Turn 4 26 4/4 trampling elves with a 216 point fireball following close behind)

If you want the decklist, just ask and I'll be happy to share.

  3. 1) I have been playing off and on since 1994.

    2) My step Brother got me into it

    3) Direct damage (red deck) and a flying deck (all blue)

    4)  Just for fun. I don't play to win i play for fun!!!

    5) I like to play weird decks now.  like a chaos deck.  I don't know what that fits into.

  4. 1. November of 2003

    2. A lady at the shop I played Yu-Gi-Oh at offered to teach me to play.

    3. UW flying.

    4. Its fun!! I do like winning but the win must be fun or I will make a new deck with a more fun win condition. :D

    5. Johnny/Spike.

My current deck: RWG Changelings(Standard format).

Decks in development: BWG Primus LD(Standard) and BW Rogues(Block Constructed format)

  5. 1) 8 Years ago (September, 2000)

    2) I was watching others play, asked what they were playing, and one guy taught me to play Magic.

    3) White 7th Edition Deck, Armada.

    4) To pass the time, to beat others, to have fun, sometimes to make a small amount of money (Selling decks).  A whole host of reasons really.

    5) Tuner Spike.  Gotta love my Pure Red Burn deck.  Wins often in 3-5 turns.  I also just don't like learning the new abilities.

    Current Decks:

    - Pure Red Burn.  As mentioned before, 3-5 turn win.  Of course, it also includes ancient cards like Lightening Bolt, Chain Lightening, and Ball Lightening

    - Goblin Deck.  Nothing over 3 mana.

    - U/G Threshold.  Threshold and Wonder in 3 turns, sweep thereafter.
