Who profits most from the Olympic Games ?

The athletes ? Or perhaps the spectators? Or perhaps the Media, the big corporations, etc, etc? Please tell me your opinion .

  4. This is the kind of event where everyone wins.  

    Profits may not be in terms money alone.  

    Spectators all over the world maybe paying out of pocket directly or by lost man-hours,  but the satisfaction derived is priceless!

  6. the city that host them.with all the people poring in from across the world poring money into hotels,restaurants,little nick knacks and all the other c**p you spend money on when on vacation the city makes money from taxes and selling vendors licensees.thats why citys are always trying to get to host them.it is not for the prestige !!!!

  7. Everyone, I think. The spectators get to see their stars (and have the chance of boasting about it to their friends), the athletes earn medals, if not, limelight, the hosts get to enjoy the status given to their country, the sponsors get money and the magazines and newspapers get a little more customers. So, in my view, everyone profits from the Olympics. Thnx.
