Who provides the pre race pony/parade horse that leads the racehorse around b4 the race? Trainer? Racetrack?

Some trainers keep their own on hand - some horses even have a "favorite" pony horse.  Other trainers will pay a Pony person, who keeps a string of ponying horses, to pony their horse.

Race track has nothing to to with it

It's up to the trainer ,, Most have there own pony girl or boy who is usally a gallop person

or they hire one for about 25 a a take out

But most trainers do have their own as most want to make sure the horse gets there safely

some don't need one
