  1. I listen to the radio every morning, it's got more life in it than an iPod.

  2. me I like how they play different songs and I like to listen to what the DJ say!

I listen to Chicago's WUSN 99.5 Country station!

  3. i still listen to regular radio and songs that are positively hot and should not be played just 5 but 500 times an hour. despite how annoying it is with ads and stuff they play good music still. plus the fact that i lack any mp3 playing devices probably helps, haha.

  4. I love listening to galaxy!! Its ace it plays better songs than my ipod love

  5. I listen to the Hamish and Andy show. It r0x0rs the s0x0rs of mp3.

  6. not me and i don't know any people that do, besides, lot of the "hot" songs they play on the radio are c**p.

  7. Lol that's why you listen to alternate radio. Triple J baby! They're owned by the government, so they have no need for advertsing except for advertising their own stuff, which are things you want to know about anyway!

  8. Well I am glad to see so many people actually do listen to regular radio. Questions like these make me sick. radio is my life and a growing industry, sure we work a ton of hours for little or no money, but one day it will all be worth it, when I get a job during drive time. here in Texas radio DJ's or talk show hosts can make more than Dallas Cowboys or professional atehelets do, you just have to work ahrd and keep at it, and hope that people don't have this kind of mind set.

  9. me

  10. In my town, the radio doesn't play any of these "Hot Hits." Instead they play tried and true GOOD music. Most (if not all) of the town listens to the radio at least once a day for news (NPR), radio shows and other happenings around the town. Granted, we're only about 5000 people, but the point stands. It's all about content.

  11. Bleh, I know I don't. Too many advertisements and talk shows that bore the h**l out of me.

  12. I listen to it in my car. Its a good way of tuning out the drive home from work.

  13. you'd be suprised... loads and loads of people. as in hundreds of millions.

    :)

  14. they are not but hottest songs are on a roughly 1 1/2- 2 hour rotation at most stations between playing the same song over again.

Most with mp3 players will play the song even harder than that and will burn out on the song quicker (those listening to top 40 songs on mp3 players which many people actually do)

I still listen to terrestrial radio, but usually search out smaller town stations that usually have a wider variety than say a big city.
