I certainly remember phone booths.  I remember the old folding door booths that were lined with hammered tin and had a little seat.

That's true, but there's so many around my house and strangely enough, I see plenty of people using them. I just hope they don't become obsolete and are removed because they're convenient if your cell phone dies and you really have to make a call.

There are still a few around, but you're right. Most common place to find them is places like airports, train stations. But not so many just out in public places anymore.
