  6. I have a 1978 BMW airhead, an R80 upgraded with 1000cc cylinders and pistons.  I also have a Honda ST1100.  The ST is good for long trips on the freeway, the BMW is nicer for Sunday rides through the hills.

  8. Just gettin started again....84 Honda 700c magna.

  9. I have a 1994 Suzuki Intruder 800. I love it. It has a shaft drive, that's great no maintenance and a great ride. I love everything about the bike. It's very light too, only 440 pounds and low to the ground so great for someone smaller. Only problem is if you ride long rides on highways might be nice to have some more weight.

  20. 1976 Moto-Guzzi 850 T-3 with 88,000 miles on it. Bought it new in '76.

  21. BMW R1150 GS. Awesome. probably a bit on the heavy side for some, but once used to the weight of BM's they are very good at doing most things rather than not very good at doing a lot of things. I do 30 to 40 K a year in all weathers (who's a nutter?) Given up falling 'orf' as these big bikes take a bit of lifting up again.

There is a new generation of lighter weight BM's now including a 'small' GS.

Why not take a test rid, you might be more impressed than you would expect.

    Keep the black bits downwards!

  22. 06' Suzuki 750
