You should learn something about your own history and political system (its not that old only 300 years) and then earn the right to ask about someone else's.

as it's a Democracy the people rule it...or better said their reprensentatives... and there are elections every 4 years. At the moment Frau Merkel is our chancellor and Herr Köhler our President.
