  1. Hmmm.....pot.....kettle.....black!

  2. It is astounding, how he does it with out laughing i will never know, its has rubbed off on Gordon Brown he does the same, do they forget our troops are currently in the Sovereign nation of Iraq :)

For those confused about the legality of Iraq here is a quote From the UN secretary General at the time Koffi Annan please keep in mind the UN are the holders of international law .........

"I hope we do not see another Iraq-type operation for a long time - without UN approval and much broader support from the international community," he added.

He said he believed there should have been a second UN resolution following Iraq's failure to comply over weapons inspections.

And it should have been up to the Security Council to approve or determine the consequences, he added.

When pressed on whether he viewed the invasion of Iraq as illegal, he said: "Yes, if you wish. I have indicated it was not in conformity with the UN charter from our point of view, from the charter point of view, it was illegal."

  3. He may well herald a new chapter in American comedy.

edit - What you forget Scouse, is that the resolution demanded access to inspect something that never existed, but was conjured up as pretext to war. Anyway that mandate runs out on Dec 21, so they better move out.

  4. I agree but at least he can pronounce the names of the countries involved this time and he might even know where they are in the world (or is that wishful thinking!)

  5. ha ha got tears in my eyes. i missed his speech ,but can't wait to see it . i'll miss the muppet when he's gone to LOL

  6. Ha, ha,  you've got to laugh or you'd cry!!

  7. remember Bush thanking Austrian troops ......in Australia !

    lol

  8. You've nailed it rob, did the same thing before leaving for China. That was really embarrassing if not hypocracy. Then as you've mentioned invasion of a sovereign country, when there is fear he might try to do the same thing against Iran. US Armada was seen reaching Iran yesterday, these things are done when attention is always some where else.

. . . . and he called Russian response disproportionate, which no doubt it is. However if you compare what Israel did in Lebanon it is virtually nothing, every country in the world condemned Israel except US, rather supported Israel, when Israel was massacring innocent civilians.

So I think it is fair to say, it is only right if Bush says so!

  9. You are WAY off base here.

Iraq was given notice after notice for years from the United Nations to disarm. They REFUSED to allow inspections. President Bush gave Saddam Hussein several months notice that if he did not comply with the UN resolutions  his country would be attacked and he would be removed from power forcefully. The United States Congress gave the OK for America to go to war with Iraq. Many of whom were democrats.

    Iraq had plenty of notice.

Russia did not give any notice. Russia did not go to the United Nations as America did when we invaded Iraq. Russia didnt give any notice at all. They just attacked without warning.

These two wars are nothing alike. Yet i know your kind, you will try to twist the truth into what you want it to be.

  10. Sometimes i wonder whether he thinks before he speaks. Surely, these priceless classics are written by someone wise for him to spout out?

  11. The words hypocritical and idiot spring to mind.

  12. Let us get something straight here Iraq was invaded because it did not obey a UN resolution and the fuss is that the UN lacks the guts to enforce it's own resolutions. Whether Iraq should have been invaded on the WWD business is open to option. Georgia haas just been invaded because Putin wanted it that way We can argue this all day, at least |Bush found what he though twas a legitimate excuse Russia just wants to hold the west over a barrel with oil. Again I say the urgent need is to fins a clean method of lubrication and power instead of Oil
