1 - I'll continue to be in favor of handgun law registration requirements and licensing requirements for training.

2 - It's very hard right now to track whether or not a felon has turned in his weapons

3 - I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry. This was a narrow exception in an exceptional circumstance where a retired police officer might find himself vulnerable as a consequence of the work he has previously done--and had been trained extensively in the proper use of firearms.

4 - I think it is a scandal that this president did not authorize a renewal of the assault weapons ban

I do not know who said it. Yes the Supreme Court would say it goes against the 2nd amendment. Here is a link to the recent case ruling that DC's gun bans are illegal. Lengthy but worth the read to arm yourself with knowledge.

Barack Obama said it, and this is a good reason for gunowners to vote against him. It seems to be unconstitutional to me.
