  1. Many people said this and many were deceived because they believed to the person who said something that is not true.  Faith is not like that!  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  Hebrews 11.1.  Like our faith in God.  We never see God but we experience His presence in our life.  Do I doubt God?  Not at all.  Doubting God is questioning His authority and not believing His existence and power.  To know that I'm still alive and breathing is one of my best evidence that God exist and I do not have a reason to doubt Him.  Our faith should be like a child.

  2. is that a oxymoron

  3. I don't know who said it, but I believe it 100%. You could have all the faith in the world and still have doubts. Were only human.

  4. I don't know who said it...but I disagree with it whole-heartedly. Only in the respect that any ounce of doubt kills any ounce of faith.

That's just it. If you have faith in something..you're not going to doubt it.

Even still it is understandable to be human and have doubts...

But that is just where faith is lacking....

  5. Obama said it. In The Audacity of Hope, he said he was drawn to the power of African-American religious traditions to spur social change. The black church taught him "that faith doesn't mean that you don't have doubts, or that you relinquish your hold on this world." He wrote about the day he was baptized at the Trinity church, when "I felt God's spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth."

We all know now that "Trinity church" is the racist enclave where Jeremiah Wright blamed all black problems on evil whites.  Obama spent 20 years there, drinking in the rhetoric and sponsoring the purveyors of race mongering. He is clearly "holding on to this world."

The whole point of faith is putting doubt aside.  As Jesus said (John 20:27), "Stop doubting and believe."

    Cheers,

    Bruce

  6. don't know who said it. but for one to say i have faith but have doubts has no faith, what i am trying to say is i have doubts in the prom ices of man but in JESUS pro mice's i have no doubts.

  7. Barack Obama said this in his 2006 describing his conversion to Christianity. He also said, "the skeptical bent of my mind didn’t suddenly vanish."

I agree with this whole-heartedly.  I believe faith is a mission to find answers on a continual journey we call life.  I think having some level of doubt is not to be frowned upon, but praised as it will press us to always keep looking, asking and searching.  I believe blind faith can make one become indolent.

  8. Don't know who said it but I agree for the most part.

Faith is directly proportionate to fear.

The more faith you have, the less NEED you have for fear, OR doubt.

So your statement is mostly true, for the only person who would  have NO doubt would be a person who is ALL faith.

I DOUBT (pun intended) that there is anyone in today's society who is ALL faith.

    Good question!
