'The class war is over and we have won' im doing contextual research for the play 'Look back in anger' i know it was a guy called Macmillan but i dont know his first name and also i cant find it on google :S

Harold MacMillan fits the timescale but I'm not aware that he ever sais such a thing.

Tony Blair also proclaimed the Class War over in 1999.

British Prime Minister Harold MacMillan. His most famous quote was,"You've never had it so good.", meaning the British people under the Conservative  government that he headed. Bit ironic really as he was a wealthy toff with a privileged background.
