Question:

Who sang these audio tapes from my childhood?

When I was younger (early 90's), I listened to these cassette tapes (I think there were about four of them) with songs, fairy tales, etc. The only things that I remember about them now are that:

1) their "theme song" was "You are my very special friend" (tune: do--- sol-- re mi fa mi re do--).

2) one of them had the story of "Rikki Tikki Timbo," about a boy who fell into a well; his brother went for help but had a hard time communicating the problem because his brother's name took so obscenely long to say.

3) they had some more traditional fairy tales like Jack and the Beanstalk and the Little Red Hen.

Can anyone tell me anything more about these tapes? (What were they called, who the woman was who sang/told them...) Thanks.
