  1. Just about anyone can see it if it's not cloudy.  It's risen by dark, and by 10pm it's almost straight to the south.  It's very bright, right now just above and to the left of Sagittarius (an arrangement of stars kind of like a teapot, partly in the milky way).

  2. were you naked when you saw it? that's kinda hot

  3. I've seen Jupiter many nights. Because of its position, I've been doing a lot of observing too. It is a great time to observe Jupiter. I got some great photos too and I got to test out my new telescope. I would recomend observing around 12 AM, when Jupiter is above the horizon so your view is better through a scope.

For the naked eye, it is a wonder to see. It is also easy to spot because it is currently the brightest object in the night sky, next to the moon.

  4. I was observing the planet with my 10-inch telescope at the same time you were watching it. It was in the southeastern sky by 9 p.m. local time, and by midnight it was to the south, south west. Jupiter was easily the brightest object in the sky, and through my telescope I observed numerous features in its turbulent atmosphere, including the Great Red Spot and Red Spot Junior.

  5. i think i did too!? i was outside nd saw sumthing waaay brighter then normal but i thought it was juss a star. i live in nevada was that it lol it was juss reallly bright ?

  6. Very easy to see-- it's the brightest thing in the sky after dark-- except for the moon.

Install Stellarium on your computer -- free planetarium software that will show you what is up in the sky after dark.
