  1. It was a good game. Riley showed that he could manage the game. Throwing for 2 touchdowns and 200 yds and no interceptions. The bears defense however uh well lets just say good thing they stepped up on the last 4th quarter comeback from the Spartans.

  2. I will copy my answer from another Cal-Michigan State question:

As a Cal fan, I have to be happy with a win. We never get them. :p

I do have to be honest, though, Michigan State did not impress me. Up until the last drive of the game, they only scored off of Cal mistakes.

Cal drops the snap off of a punt, and Michigan State gets it back. It isn't like they came up and blocked it. Cal just killed themselves on that.

Cal's backup quarterback (why he is still on the team, I dont know) throws an interception for a touchdown. Granted, it was a great pick, but he threw it at four defenders. One of them was bound to get it.

Cal roughs the kicker at the end of the game, when it was a 14 point lead. The next play, MSU gets a nice long pass for a touchie, but they shouldn't have gotten the opportunity.

Michigan State has a great back, but the rest of their team is pretty weak, especially at quarterback. I thought the Niners have it rough with Alex Smith at the helm, but your guy was ruthless. I dont know how many times he blindly threw it up off his back foot and it got either knocked down or picked (nice pick by Syd'Quan Thompson).

Michigan State has a ways to go still. Cal does, too.

  3. who would've wanted to anyway when you had alabama clemson and mizzou illinois and not even half the country could've watched it due to th alabama clemson game on abc

  4. I thought it was well officiated. The replays worked as intended, and that is to correct mistakes. The game was played with greater intensity and both teams showed promise. I would not be surprised if the Spartans will be playing in a bowl game at the  end of the year. I wished I could say the same thing for the Bears but the PAC-10 is loaded with great teams. USC, Oregon, Arizona and even Stanford, some of you might be laughing at this one but watching their last game and how Harbaugh coached and prepare this team I could see bigger things ahead. This year will be an interesting one. My only concern is how in college football world would they ranked Ohio State number 2 when this team plays nobody but pansies? I guessed the real answer to this question is dated September 13 when the Buckeyes plays The Trojans. Happy Labor Day to all!
