Question:

Who saw the first interchange rule breach on TV last night?

The AFL cannot do anything right. They changed the rules, mid-season, against all advice. They showed on the news tonight that the AFL did a complete stuiff-up. The WCE player hadn't entered the playing arena - only stepped outside the box. This should only have incurred a $5,000 fine - not a free kick & 50 metres penalty which, at all times, will almost certainly result in a goal.

Imagine if they'd done that to the Kangaroos today & they lost by a couple of points because of it? There would have been h**l to play.

When is the AFL going to get things right? No wonder the game is going backwards fast!

  2. Me. I saw it!

& yes, it had to be against the Eagles!

  3. I agree, the AFL is really stuffing up this year. i hate WCE but Adelaide still shouldnt have got that free kick. and as if you would ask for the free kick back. man that WCE coach is an idiot.

  4. the afl is the only sport in the world that changes its rules every year

  5. Fire the interchange steward who screwed it up on his first day of work.

  6. It is no secret to the footy public that the AFL are a joke, they don't and won't listen to the fans, they are so arrogant, they have made another balls up with their reaction to the Sydney stuff up, if they had of taken the points off Sydney, guess what,  this new b.s would not have come in.

  7. Yes. I saw it.

It was bound to happen. The AFL changing the rules mid-season. They generally try & get through the teething troubles during he NAB Cup & scratch matches.

I wonder what the intelligence test is to obtain a position on the Interchange Committee & Panel. Not very high by the looks of things.

  8. I think Andrew Demetriou should enter federal politics. He needs an arena where he can f*ck things up on a much larger scale.

  9. I heard something about that on the news. Thankfully it didn't change the outcome of that particular game.

  10. the AFL is just f*cked, and the umpires aren't far behind them, the new rules brought in, and the way the game is umpired, its fast turning into a joke.

  11. Yeah you have a good point bout the possibility of it effecting a close game..

Really I think this couldve been all fixed by getting everyone used to the rule this year and actually starting the fines and free kick penalties next season..

It wouldve given all involved time to get used to the rules and work thru teething problems!
