  1. Yes, I heard the news. This type of thing is very sad and sudden.

May he rest in peace. My condolences go out to those who knew and loved him.

  2. That was like 2 months ago.... Yeah it was depressing but I dont think the timing could have been any better. I think he proved, only weeks after the Rolex and Kentucky Derby that horses get killed in freak accidents just as much as they do in the sports they participate in. What is PETA and anti-eventing/racing people going to say to that? Don't go for a  hack on horses because they might get hurt.....? His death at least proved something even though it has horrible.

  3. OMG!!! Thats awful!!!

  4. Yes it is sad.

He was a great little horses. It is a way to show that horses can get hurt or killed even in the pasture

  5. Don't even get me started.  I was telling someone about him a month ago and went to find some pics of him online.  When I read that, I literally teared up :'(.  He wasn't just the O'Connor pony; he was America's pony.  I mean EVERYONE was rooting for him in the Olympics!!!  It is just sooooo sad.

  6. i was so sad when i first heard the news, he was a role model for all the ponies in the world...may he rest in peace

  7. very very sad but old news.  The bad part, I heard, is that he slipped with shoes on on a concrete aisle and critically injured himself.  Too bad he wasn't in a safe environment.

  8. I didn't see that or know about that horse, but, I had a half Arab

and American Walking Pony mare that I raised from a foal out of my American Walking Pony mare , and she was at a pasture of a friend's friend... she fell in a ditch, and she broke her leg, and they shot her.  So, I just want to say that my heart really

goes out to the ones who loved Theodore.  It is so devastating to lose a horse like that!  I am so sorry to hear about that.  It

is such a shock to lose a horse!
