i'm living proof that such a myth isn't true!

taking you to the last part of my FIRST MAJOR dream last night, i was trying to escape, when i was shot in the back numerous times with (what i believe to be) a type of SMG. i then fell on my back, looking up. i then saw an enemy come up to me & ask me something threatening, i couldn't understand what he was saying because his broken english was so bad, so i just looked at him with a feeling that no matter what, i would not tell him anything. then with so much pain, i started to feel weak, & finally closed my eyes... a moment later i awoke back into this reality...

  1. You said it yourself, you woke up at the moment of death, thus you did not die in your dream.

It's not as if you fell asleep, died in your dream... followed by a long period of time during which you were dead in your dream and thus ceased to exist, and then you woke up 6 hours later as if you had only been asleep for minutes, unable to account for that period of time...

  2. h**l you die in your dreams, I'm practically have fun in mine, jump off buildings, shoot people, hold grenades.  but dieing in your dreams doesn't mean your dieing in reality as well. it just means your going to get shot of you watch to many action films.

    TFL

  3. i dont. i do thin kthough that if u dream about certain things like death 4 instance then something relative to that may happen in real life.

  4. YOU'RE THE ONE!!!!!!

I don't think it's true that if you die in your dreams, you die in real life. I think that most people don't die in their dreams, in fact bad dreams are rare or at least not the majority of dreams are bad. Our brains naturally steer away from that kind of stuff.

Obviously, if you're going through some trouble time and have so many things you don't confront and bury deep down while conscious, your dreams are going to pick up all that stuff.

At least that's for most normal people... what's going on in your life man?

(Broken English, SMG, not tell anything, threatening stuff... my guess is that you're watching too many action movies and consuming to much mainstream news media)
