Who says the vows first, the bride or the groom?

I'm writing our ceremony (or at least writing one and then together we will change it) and I have no idea who says their vows first... Oops... LOL!

So, who is it?

BTW: We've picked our wedding date! October 1, 2009 (he made the final decision on it last night).

  1. well there is no rule but you can do "ladies first" if you like!  


  2. yup normaly groom go first, never really thougth through it before you ask and had to think about it


  3. The Broom says it first.  And, I call him the broom because he sweeps her off her feet.

  5. We are planning a traditional church wedding. According to the way our minister walked us through the ceremony, the Groom  will say his vows first.
