Who serves the best steaks in Manhattan, NY?

Peter Luger's is the Best Steak experience in New York City but it is in Brooklyn. Wolfgang's and Ben and Jacks are the best in Manhattan (the were started by ex-Peter Luger's employees). Order Tomato and Onion salad as well as the bacon to start. The steaks are fantastic and they do them like Peter Luger's except that they are in Manhattan.

Other great places are Bobby Van's, Keen's, Spark's, and Smith and Wolensky's. Del Frisco's and Shula's are good as well

I have been to all of them and they are great but it is Peter Luger's and it's descendents (e.g. Wolfgang's) that are the very best.

i don, t know if it is still there, but it probably is, Kansas City, east,, or something like that, in Kansas they have New York,  the same restuarants,    anyway, i don,t know where to get the best steak, wish my friend JOhn  was here he would tell you cause he used to eat at that place alot,

Listen to the person who told you about Peter Lugers and Wolfgangs. If someone suggests Gallagers, advise against it.Ate there 2 weels ago. Pricey and the steaks were not very good. We were very dissapointed.

Peter Luger - the first stop over the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn - it's wonderful and there is nothing in Manhattan that even comes close - it also is less expensive than some of the Manhattan restaurants [bring cash - they don't take credit cards]  They're a hundred years old - they must be doing something right!
