  1. i doubt u will find the original person. it will most likely be a group of immigrants who decided to open shop near each other and then it grew and became know as china town but really im not sure that's only a guess.


  2. In 1832 Sir Stamford Raffles recommended Singapore to be divided into specific areas for immigrants from different countries. This resulted in the formation of a distinct section titled Chinatown. However, the actual physical development of Chinatown only started when parcels of land were leased or granted to the public in and after 1843 for the building of houses and shops.
