Who shall I cheer for?

Im English so naturally I want them to win. However, at the early stages of the competition I had a ten pounds ew bet on Argentina at 33-1 so if they win it I`ll collect about £500.

Yes £500 is nice but you'll have it spent and forgotten in a week.  However, if England win you'll have something that you can tell your children and grandchildren about for years to come.  Surely that is priceless?

Well first of all, Argentina have to beat South Africa to even give you that dilemma, so cheer them on later tonight to keep you in with a chance.

If they do make it to next Saturday's final, then do the patriotic thing and cheer for England, but know that you have a great consolation prize if your home-team lose.

Either way, so long as Argentina win tonight, you will be a happy man next Saturday (unless of course you really need that cash).

£500 is nice but it is easily spent and forgotten. England winning and retaining the World Cup is worth a lifetime of memories.
