I think all the above answers speak for themselves. I have just started to shop at Ikea as I plan on installing Kitchen Cabinets from Ikea and I am not 20 something. I am 50 something!

OMG!!!!!! i went to Ikea once and we bought so much stuff. see my parents are divorced and my dad lived in an apartment for like 3 years. then we moved to a town house. well we decided to get rid of most of the old furniture we had.....either that or my dad kept it for him in his room.....but we went shopping at Ikea. when i got there at first i had no clue what to do. but my dad had been there before and he told us all about it. well the drive was like 1 hour but it was worth it!!!!!!!! we got so much cool stuff and it was like 4 years ago and i still have all of the furniture and i love it. it may just barely fit into my little room at our town house but it is very useful to me. the stuff there is so good and once you put it together it works like a charm!!!!! o yeah and get one of those big blue closet thingys they are so useful. it has one half where u can hang up stuff and the other half is like 6 shevles where you can store clothes. i have almost all of my clothes in it. my sister has one and she has ALL of her clothes in it. its pretty big if u ask me. lol. well hope u get what you are looking for.

I used to shop at Ikea.  I live in Philadelphia, and one of the very first Ikea stores was in suburban Philadelphia.  I furnished my entire apartment at Ikea.  I don't know that I'd still shop there now, anymore, but it's a great place for 20-somethings to start.  I remember being flabbergasted that I could get 12 glasses for like $3.

I have shopped there several times and I love it. They have really unique things that keeps me organized.

I used to love it.  Then I tried to buy a bedframe.  It was in the store, but they wouldn't pull it down.  They also wouldn't save it for me to pick up the next day, even though I had cash right there to pay for it.  We lived out of town, couldn't be there right away to pick it up.  We offered to pay then so we could pick it up the next day.  Still no deal.  Something about "first come, first served".  Somehow, someone who gets there at 7:00 am on day 2 gets there BEFORE someone who was there at 3:00 pm on day 1.  We had about $1000 worth of stuff (redoing our guest bedroom).  Left it right there and won't go back.

I DO!!! OMG I love this store, the whole place, you want to buy the whole place up!  Everything makes you want to be more organized and it's all so simple.  Just get a catalog and you want everything, if you go in the store, you never want to leave!!!
