Who should I keep as backup Qb? Matt Schaub or Vince Young?

VY will have worse pass numbers than matt schaub because of the offense he has. in this case i would go with schaub (no offense to vince).

Matt Schuab. Vince Young can't seem to break 20 touchdown passes in one season. And if he does this season I can't see him doing it without alos getting 20 interceptions. But with a healthy Andre Johnson back the Texans passing game is going to be a whole lot more solid. So keep Schuab and get rid of Vince Young.

The source I use, footballguys.com lists Vince Young at #16, and Matt Schaub at #18.

In other words, on paper, there's little appreciable difference.  Young gets a boost because of his running ability.

Personally, I consider Schaub a potential diamond in the rough.  Houston's Gary Kubiak was John Elway's backup, and is considered an excellent tutor for passers.

I think the Texans are building the right way, with improved line play and a balanced attack.

Vince Young can't read a defense, and has too many turnovers for my taste.

Of the two, I prefer Schaub.
