  1. with the scoring system that you have it's worth considering taking a qb in the first round. i normally don't do that but when a rushing td is worth the same as a passing td it makes it a viable option.

  2. I have an idea for you.  Footballguys.com has a free software program called the Draft Dominator.

You can plug in your league scoring settings, and it will allow you to create a mock draft or help you select players using Value Based Drafting, and Average Draft position.

    It's pretty easy to use.

Your scoring system does favor quarterbacks, but you won't want to reach too early for one, at the expense of running backs.

The QB position is deeper (in theory).

  3. If i am reading correctly, you get 1 pt per completion and no penalty for incompletions. If this is correct you need to get a top QB, preferably Brady or Manning. With passing td's at 4pts and scoring td's at 4 pts. this is loaded towards QB's. Also, this scoring system seems slanted to defenses as well, what with 7 pts for td's and negative pts for 28 or more pts given up. So you might want to reach a little earlier on your defense. Gore should catch a lot of balls with Martz as the OC now. K.Winslow catches a ton of balls too which seems to be supported well with this scoring system. I would target guys who catch the ball a lot, this is not supportive of high yard guys. Another target would be Welker.

  4. LT and AP are great running-backs to pick, if you can get them. I haven't been reading Fantasy Football stuff as much this year as I did last year, but I know ESPN.com, OR NFL.com will have some good information about good players to pick. Some other advice: I was in a league last year, and this one guy picked ALL vikings except for two of his players. DON'T DO THAT! He got last place. And I would suggest not just picking people just because you like them. For example: Pretend you really like Rex Grossman, I wouldn't pick him as my starting QB, but that's just my opinion. Well.. that's about all I can tell you. Have fun!!
