Who should I put for my starting first baseman: Adrian Gonzalez or Jason Giambi?

I also have Lance Berkman, but he is in outfield. If I move him up to first base, my best replacement outfielder would be David Murphy, so I think Berkman should stay in outfield.

  1. Definately keep Berkman in the OF...inserting Murphy would be MUCH worse than starting either Giambi OR Gonzalez.  I would start Gonzalez at 1b however.  He seems to be a much more consistent hitter at this point.  The Yankee's are banged up and Giambi is batting after A-rod and Jetere...so if he continues his hot streak he'll just end up getting pitched around.  Plus he's older and hasnt really shown the ability to sustain a high level of play for years.

  2. Adrian Gonzalez.  All day everyday.  No question about it.  Keep Berkman in your OF.  Play Giambi at the UTIL if you got someone weak there.

Good Luck for the rest of the season.

  3. Let Gonzalez stay at first and put Giambi on your Util best option I think

  4. Giambi - he's playing exceptionally well right now.

  5. Adrian, he is a beast. Good Luck.

  6. Adrian

i didnt think this would cause any debate at all, there is no question

  7. AG  ftw

  8. Definitely Adrian Gonzalez.

  9. I would say Giambi. Last season he was injured and really could not be effective but this year i put him in my top for for homers for the year. the only scare i would have is his BA and inconstancy.
