I have Drew Brees and Jay Cutler. I would want to move one of them for a WR. I also have Edgerrin James who I can pair with either one of those.

  1. Its hard to say without seeing the rest of your team. But I think Brees is going to have a better year especially given the addition of Shockey so I would say hold on to him.

  2. Well i would let go of Cutler and not brees

they are both incosistent but for Brees its like he has a bad game and then a good one

for cutler its like he has a bad game and then an average on

  3. Keep Brees -  they have given him more weapons on Offense.  Shockey will open things up for the WRs and Bush out of the backfield.  Do you have a Back up QB?  Also you may want to wait, because there is a lot of time before the season starts and people could get injured.

  4. idk thats kinda hard, cuzz drew brees he has really sucky seasons, but he had some good ones as a charger,so he might suck next season w/ the saints but you never no,but jay cutler

he has like off and on games like some games h**l suck

nd some h**l be a good qb so idk thats kinda hard,id say ud trade 1 of em for vincent jackson, cuzz i have a feeling hes gonna be a nfl threat next season

  5. Unless you have a good third QB, I would keep them both.  Either will score more than just about any WR.  If you are going to trade one of them though, I'd trade Cutler.  Brees is a proven talent with a better offense.

As to that first answer-  wtf are you talking about?  Brees has been overall outstanding for the last 4 years, in San Diego and New Orleans.  Not to mention your answer is nearly incomprehensible.  Oh, and anyone who trades either Cutler or Brees for Vincent Jackson needs to just quit playing fantasy football immediately.  And I say that as a die-hard Charger fan.  Jackson has potential and he was great in the playoffs last year, but no way is he comparable to a good starting QB in fantasy terms.

  6. Here is some great Fantasy Football advise........ It is too soon to be thinking of trading anyone.  You need to first see how they do in the preseason.  I have seen your team and you have good sleeper candidates.  Watch them.  Also, see what the chemistry is like with Jennings and Rodgers first.  You might be getting worked up about your WRs for nothing.  No reason to get rid of any of your QBs and Ad James for nothing.  Cutler has a lot of upside too because this is his 2nd full season with his diabetes under control.  That is a huge factor.

Ed James is a good RB3.  No reason to let him go.  He is great for depth at this point.  Just wait.  Be patient.  The season hasn't even started.

Thumbs up to those who agree.

  7. Definately keep Brees. Denver runs the ball a lot and Cutler is still somewhat unproven. Also, now Brees has Shockey to throw to. Having a good receiving TE will always help a QBs stats, especially TDs.

Depending on who your other RBs are, I wouldn't trade James but you can get some value with Cutler. Trade to a team with a below average QB and you may get some value at WR.

I would say Cutler is good enough to get a teams 2nd receiver. Another thing to keep in mind is 3rd year receivers are usually good sleeper guys, as this is the common breakout year for them, i.e. Braylon Edwards last year.
