we're having a 12 person Yahoo! Football draft. it's been pre-determined that i'm pick #1 so, obviously getting LT. I have created the quintessential team but alot hinges on my round 2 pick(good RB). I want Jamal Lewis but i think so does pick #4. can't do much to stop that but anyways my 3rd round will be marques colston. Thoughts: possibly Michael Turner, Jones Drew, Ronnie Brown? idk, i can't think of anything. PLEASE HELP

  1. The best thing you can do is wait and see. Have your lists prepped and ready to go. You may find this pick easy. If guys start gobbling up QBs or WRs a running back you hadn't even considered could slide to you. However, if your choices come down to those three RBs that you mentioned, by all means go with Jones-Drew. Turner has yet to prove himself as a starting RB and Brown is a huge question mark one year after an injury that usually takes 2 years to fully come back from. Did you know that no RB has EVER rushed for 1000 yds the year after Brown's injury (ACL?). At least you know what you get with MJD. A TD machine that gets a few yards here and there. Besides, Fred Taylor's gotta run out of gas sometime and this year I believe he will. That would mean more yards for Jones-Drew to compliment his probably double digit TD figures.

  2. Round 2 24th pick,hmmm...

    1)J.Lewis

    2)MJD

    3)B.Edwards

    4)L.Fitzgerald

(You may want to get your WR1 in round 2,then get Ernest Grahm in round 3,or wait till round 4 to get Lendale White.Grahm, and White are ranked higher then Ronnie Brown on almost ALL of my internet FFL

sources.(And I frequent many of them...I know my SH**!)

  3. I would pick Jones-Drew. Don't risk Ronnie Brown in the 2nd. Michael Turner is a reach in the 2nd round. The only other RB likely to be there is Maroney and that isn't the best option. If Jones-Drew and Lewis are both gone, then I would consider throwing your plan to the wind and pick Peyton Manning if he makes it there or a top WR followed by another WR or Drew Brees/Tony Romo.

I think its better to just go with the flow because your plan will be messed up in some way.
