Should they wait to penalize Edwards and Busch until the chase starts because taking away points at this time wont really hurt them since they are all ready locked in.

  1. Neither.

  2. they're both locked into the chase so just let it go...i mean this is what makes nascar fun to watch. i say that last night's race was the best all season...make you kinda forget about indy

  3. I think they should take away bonus points for both of them. Kyle for the initial hit with his car after the race and Carl for hitting him back. I doubt that will happen, but it is what I would do.

  4. they never penalized Jeff Gorden any points for shoving Kenseth so how does this make any difference

  5. Kyle because he is a baby

  6. They won't do anything, Kyle has been bumping and crashing people all year to win including  Dale Jr. and NASCAR has been reaction less about any of it. but my opinion, no one can blame Carl for retaliating for the side swiping Kyle did if only to get him out of the way to get to the winners circle, no the initiator in the after the race crash should be penalized.

Kassyfan your right they aren't team mates I knew that just was writing in a hurry, but that doesn't make my an idiot anymore than it makes you a q***r just because I think you are get it!

  7. I agree with baseball because kyle IS a baby, but i really think they'll do nothing because "boys will be boys"

  8. They should get penalized the same. They both are guilty of the same crime. Kyle started it and Carl did the same thing in return. NASCAR will not hold off the penalties. They will get penalized Tuesday. I imagine Kyle will get probation. I don't know how they will look at Carl but I would guess he would get the same. Carl should have kept his cool, it would have looked better on him.

  9. Yes Kyle should be penalized not only his bonus points  he should also be siting for a race or more

he has been warned many times about after race incidents

  10. Kyle should be penalized, but Edwards did nothing wrong.

  11. It's racing at Bristol. Tempers and sparks will fly! Just let em' go racing. Fine them, penalize them ain't gonna stop them from rubbing fenders in weeks to come. Just let em' loose.

  12. I think Kyle Busch should be punished more.  What Edwards did while racing is the way short-track racing, and especially Bristol racing in particular, works sometimes.  Besides, Busch got him back just a few seconds later.

However, I do think Edwards needs to be penalized as well.  He did spin out Busch after the race.

As for how, I just think both should be fined and placed on probation.  I don't see anything really dangerous that warrants taking points away.

  13. Edwards may have bumped Shrub but they were racing at Bristol, the track famous for tough racing and the bump and run!! Anyone remember Earnhardt and Labonte duking it out at Bristol 'bout ten years ago?

    Both should be penalized equally.

  14. I think that Kyle busch should be penalized more so due to the fact that he initiated the incident.  Carl Edwards spun him around after being hit in his drivers side door.  All that I can say is that he better be glad that's all Carl Edwards did.I believe when a driver does something like Busch did last night, he should loose points, and he should be suspended the next race. And that they start a fund and when a driver looses his cool like he did last night that they must put 5000.00 in this fund and at the end of the racing season its split between the multiple of charities in the Nascar family.

  15. Come on folks It was Great Racing. Name ONE driver who has never got out of his car mad after being pushed out of the way for a win??? They all do it. I love Kyle and his Great will to win to bad Dale Jr . does not have the same drive as Kyle does. To win a championship In The Cup series (Sorry it will always be the WINSTON cup) you have to push people out of your way to win races this is why Mark Martin has No championships He is to nice of a driver and does not have that championship drive to win a championship. GO KYLE

  16. Yeah, that is how it should be. Take all the bonuses from them. 100 points each, make them start the chase 11th and 12th. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any. If they keep this up the rest of the year, neither one of them will win the 2008 Sprint Cup Championship. And that wouldn't hurt my feeling either.

Well, maybe take 100 points from Kyle and 50 from Carl... only after the chase starts.

  17. I think it was all Tony Stewarts fault.... he gets blamed for everything else
