ok im a huge supporter of the club to start off so i know the players pretty well, now first of all riewoldt has been captain more then once, has he led the team to a grand final? NO, so he shouldn't be captain, luke ball has been captain twice, he led the team to the finals but didint succeed, lenny hayes? umm no, maybe harvey should get another go since he's probably leaving next year so it would be good for him to lead the team once more, in my personal opinion i'd love to see nick dal santo as captain, i think he's the best player on the team judging from his brownlow votes, and watching him live and on t.v. he has natural ability to do whaterver comes his way, hes a down to earth person and would be great representation for the saints!! SO DAL SANTO FOR CAPTAIN 2008, but i'd also loveee to see david armiatge leading the saints one day, now theres a star in the making! :) goooo saints

and as for the slogan, i took one look at it and thought of delta goodrem lol, not a very original idea, prefer "believe or burn" the old slogan

I think Riewoldt would be an awful captain.  He always seems to decide when he wants to contribute to a game.  Why not give the band to Kingy as he's done it with some success before and to herald a new era for the club?  Just a thought.

The bogan slogan?  How many clubs have used that over the years? - I think that may have been our U-14 club slogan or some similar cliche!

personally leight fisher should be captain. thats if hes still there i cant remember lol, i think reiwoldt is a softy. no way he can be a leader, i mean he has some attributes, but he relies on the umpires a lot.

With out a doubt should be Nick Reiwoldt, if it helps the club all good, Ive tipped the Saints to have a big year, i think they can make the top 4 for sure

The slogan isn't important, but the skipper for mine would be either Nick the Saint, Hayes or Dal Santo

I don't know who should captain the Saints......they have too many players who break into tears if they get hurt, or beaten!

Maybe Liz Ellis could captain them - she has just relinquished her netball ties with the Australian team!

Also I like the Three Musketeers slogan better....... " All For One & One For All".

An attempt at a catchy slogan (bad attempt at that) means nothing if the Saints don't put it together on the field. Thats where premierships are won not in the marketing office
