Who should have played Edward Cullen in the Twilight Movie?

My Personaly pick whould have been Tom Sturridge. but i can live wit the guy playing him...he can pass

Gaspard Ulliel.  I don't really know anything about Twilight but they looked at this guy and decided he was too old.  Oh well, he sure is pretty. =)

personally I feel like Robert Pattinson is a good cast. He is hot, has bronze hair, and actually plays piano (plus he composed the lulaby).

The only bad thing are the giant ferrents on his face (the things he calls eyebrows) but if you look at harry potter pics they were plucked.

I really don't understand why people are so pissed.

i used to b really pissed about the guy playing him but now i really and truly dont mind him. But my picks were Tom Sturridge and Gaspard Ulliel- well more tom than gaspard bcuz Tom is younger and more edwardy

Well I'm going to be honest. first i thought Robert was the ugliest thing out there. but after watching the trailers and Harry Potter, then it got to me. HE IS REALLY CUTE! but i will always picture edward something like HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN - why? I don't know.- i guess everyone sees edward differently in their heads
