Who should i drop Alex Gordon or Jeremy Hermida?

Holliday is coming off the DL and i need to get rid of someone

This is my roster

1B Alex Gordon (KC - 1B,3B)

2B Yunel Escobar (Atl - 2B,3B,SS)

3B Mike Lowell (Bos - 3B)

SS Carlos Guillén (Det - 1B,3B,SS)

OF Josh Hamilton (Tex - OF)

OF Nate McLouth (Pit - OF)

OF Carlos Beltrán

Util Jorge Cantú (Fla - 1B,3B)

Util Jacoby Ellsbury (Bos - OF)

BN Howie Kendrick (LAA - 2B)

BN Jeremy Hermida (FLA-OF)

DL Matt Holliday (COL- OF)

I figure if i drop Gordon i can just move Cantu to 1B

  1. I'd drop Escobar...he's easily your worst fantasy player and you have Kendrick behind him anyway.


  2. You probably won't miss Hermida. He's unclaimed in my winner league, where not many roster-worthy players are available.

    Besides, you're getting back an OF, so dropping an OF makes sense.

    Gordon's not great, but he's owned in most leagues, and he's not bad to have on the bench.

    Escobar's not a big name, but he's not that bad, and you don't know when Kendrick might re-injure himself.

    All of this, of course, depends on who's available at 1B, OF, 2B in your league's free agent pool.

  3. I'd just drop Hermida. You've got Holliday, Ellsbury as your backup OF already
