Who should i start: Ricky Williams or Edgerrin James?

I know Ricky is a hit or miss but I think he's going to have a breakout year....he looked good in pre-season....but I think I should go with quality. Looking for advice

Both are playing questionable defenses.  I think Ricky has more upside and Miami will be running alot but Brown will probably cut into his carries.  Edge has peaked and only has downside as far as im concerned, you'll probably see 15-20 carries less than 70 total yards and maybe a goaline TD, and then there is the likelihood that they will get into a shootout with Martz offense on the otherside of the ball so I'd go with Ricky.  He is the starter week 1

I would honestly go with Ricky because this game won't be focused on Favre and Pennington.  Pennington can only throw but so far so they will need to run to make it game. What has Edge done since he left Indy? I'd start Ricky, cut Edge loose, and pick up Brandon Jacobs.

I'd say hold fire with Ricky Williams. My guess is Brown's injury will plague him into a 2nd string position, but he will start the first game. Until then Edge is pretty much guaranteed all the carries, so I'd say he is the better option.
