  1. I don't know how you can't take LT again at #1.  He's not going to duplicate what he did in 2006 but he's shown no signs of him declining.  He's got a very good team behind him also, which helps tremendously. He's a great catching back who makes plays and is extremely athletic.

Adrian Peterson has a great O-Line and may be more athletic than LT but he definitely hasn't had the track record of LT.  One good year doesn't really amount to anything.  He may hit the sophmore slump.  If you take a look at his stats after his few game injury last year, for the most part, he had a mini 3 game slump.

Just go with LT this year!

  2. Good explanation, Da Hal.  LT will always produce.  The only thing I'm weary about AD is the sophomore slump.  Teams playing against him should be able to adjust to him now.

  3. LT no doubt. If you go to www.nfl.com they have all the information you need for every pick.

  4. LT...no question.

  5. The way I evaluate two RB's is first I look at their stats, then I look at their team.

AP vs LT: LT has better stats. However, the word on the street currently is that AP has a higher "ceiling." That's pure BS. LT set the record just a few years ago. The most impressive stat for LT is that he's only missed one game in his entire career, extending back to college.

    Teams:

Passing game: you can't have a good running game in the absence of a good passing game, and vice versa. SD > Minn, clearly, although the effect of bernard berrian on Minn's offense is yet to be seen.

O-line: you can have hall of famers at qb, wr, te and RB, but if your o-line stinks, they aren't going anywhere. I haven't seen minn's o-line in action, so this is a personal choice.

Coaching style: There are two situations you want to avoid: coaches that run too much, or run too little in the red zone. Coaches that run too much are an injury risk for your RB. You don't want your RB to be grinding yards 3 plays out of 4 with 60 carries per game like Pittsburg, or replacing your RB with a "goaline hawk" like Atlanta. SD likes to run in the red zone, and LT is good enough to break a 20 yard run for a TD.

Overall, the first pick this year for me is clearly LT, but you should look at both the player's stats and team situation before making your choice.

  6. L T  because he is the best running back. I know peterson is good but teams should stake the line and make the quarterback throw the ball.If they do that to the chargers then gates and company will burn you.

  7. lt or peterson.

  8. LT
