It's sucks to be a Laker fan right now. They had opportunities to get a better SF. But, Looks like they gonna stuck with the Inconsistent and poor defender Lamar Odom for one more year. Odom has been a Laker for 4 years and still Lakers are worshiping him.

The Lakers dont need to make anoter move to be legitimate title contenders next season. They get Andew Bynum in essence because he sustained a season-ending injury last year. They didnt have Gasol for the first half and they didnt have Bynum for the second half, so having these two big men together for a considerable amount of time is basically like acquiring a big name free agent. They made the Finals without having both of these guys on the floor together for any real amount of time, so they will be alright without getting a big name like Artest or Marion. Bynum was one of the bright young big men ithe NBA before he went down.

As far as I'm concerned, they should stay with Lamar unless they can get their hands on Shawn Marion. All that soft stuff aside, Lamar is a good rebounder and great at creating mismatches, he just can't provide the toughness that Andrew Bynum gives them. They'll still be a championship team.

Lamar is agreat rebounder and he can do soo much. he has so much talent n i love him. remember the game against dallas last year (31 points, 10 rebounds 5 assists) and those 12 straight games of double-doubles. him and pau play so well 2gether + add drew to that and you have the best team in the NBA and your 2009 NBA CHAMPS. so we dont need anyone. we dont hav da money 4 it anywayz!

The Lakers need a rebounder in the mold of Charles Barkley. The Lakers have Bynum and Gasol but these guys are a little soft. The Lakers need to be tough inside and they can only do this by acquiring a Small Forward who defends well and can rebound at least 15 per game.
