It's sad to see Ronny leave, but I think, now that we have to move on, we must look at other tough forwards. My pick is Stromile Swift, because he is tough and will be cheap on the dollar bill.

  1. kwame

  2. Josh Smith I think.

    He'd be a great help.

    He blocks, rebounds.

I'd love to see him wearing purple and gold.

    The "Showtime" is back.

Swift is also a good choice.

  3. i rather have to sign childress... a promising superstar

then trade odom, walton, and vlad to kirilenko and harpring

thats the lakers moves this offseason

  4. yeah i agree it's sad to see Ronny leave, but we're getting bynum back and chris mihm is expected to be fully healthy by training camp. their'd be no playing time for ronny, and the warriors gave him A LOT of money really. a little more than 4 million a year... i say we just need to sign sasha, and we'll be fine. think about it, we'll have the same team, except bynum instead of turiaf. I'd like a rematch with that. And stromile swift is a little washed up.

BASICALLY: sign sasha and we'll be fine.

  5. Nobody!!If they lose Sasha

    then they may sign somebody.

  6. STROMILE SWIFT

  7. the lakers NEED, I MEAN NEED, kwame brown. he is the best power forward in the game today.

  8. I am a Lakers fan I think the Lakers should sign Josh Smith because he is a real good shot blocker and he really can play powerforward.

  9. Stromile Swift is not a bad option ..

  10. idk maybe a player in the caliber of him maybe someone that brings the enery like him.maybe mikki moore or sum1 like sean williams(will never happen)but sum1 like that

  11. Josh Smith is out of the question, they don't have the bread for him...they're better off giving one of the summer league guys a shot with a rookie minimum deal...

  12. they really dont need to sign anybody....they have mihm, bynum, odom, gasol, luke, ariza in the front court and farmar, vujacic, kobe, fisher, for the backcourt .they are an amazingly deep team

  13. They are after Kurt Thomas right now.

    Thomas averaged 7.5ppg, 8.8rpg, and 1.0 bpg

I think he is the best suiter in replacing Ronny Turiaf. Kurt brings defense, and boards while Bynum is in the bench.

  14. they might sign swift but not for the reasons you said .....he has great leaping ability but is a poor rebounder/defender and has no low post gms plus he an undersized pf thats what the lakers dont need .......im thinking they wont sign him a pf that avg less then 5 rpg for his career is not in high demand.....and they do need to sign someone but not him.

  15. whered he go?
