me and my friend want to go to our school disco and its a dress as a star disco!

who do you think we could be were both girls and anyone cept the olsen twins!

The Olsen twins were the 80s--not 70s.  That being said, why do you have to dress up AS someone?  Why not just dress up disco?

The women pretty much just did an Alanis Morissette thing with their hair.  Look up some pictures of Cher.  Or Farrah Faucet.  Those are your two choices really.  Maybe you could be 2/3 Charlie's Angels.

Did you watch Austin Powers?  Foxy Cleopatra was a disco queen.

Men:  Look up Saturday night fever.  That white jumpsuit that Elvis and John Travolta wore.  Or go with an afro.

See if you can find a clip from the Premiere of Grease.  No not Grease the movie, b/c that is suppose to be 50s.  But Grease was released in 78 so what the actors were wearing at the Premiere might help.

I mean disco was sorta what happened when you took hippies stuff and made it out of metallic fabrics.  Especially metallic short shorts.  Seersucker was also big.  So was jumpsuits.

There is also a tv show out right now Swing Town.  I don't know if your parents will let you watch it, but those clothes are exactly right.
