Who should win in India?

Am not interested in politics.. But I dont like the way you say " Italian Congress " that is not the right term.. who wins ultimately matters to the general public.. its in their hands..

It is upto the Indian Public as a whole to decide as to who should win the next general election and not couple of people from Yahoo Answer Forum to make the decision.

BJP of course......If it was up to the Indian national congress, India would be carved up into pieces....One part of India would go to the vatican, the other part of India would go to Muslim countries like saudi arabia and pakistan and the third part of india would go to China.....

BJP are far from perfect and it needs to be reformed in a number of ways....HOWEVER....if a choice is made between BJP and Congress, we have to go with the party that is willing to stand up a make a difference.....

The Congress has been in power for the most part....what did they do???? NOTHING....

The BJP have held office ONCE and in that time:

India became a nuclear power

Its economy skyrocketted

It joined more multilateral fora that it ever has in a space of a few year

It established strong friendships with USA and Israel (without harming existing friendships)

Tourism was at an all time high

I mean the list can go one.....I choose BJP anyday....Congress isn't even a party for the Indians, it is a party for foreigners......

But remember, the BJP needs serious reform as well.....It needs to be taken over by young, educated, modern men and women who know how to do things in a professional and civilised manner....Young people that can take India into the 21st century and bring great modernisation to India WITHOUT losing the central pro-Hindu tenet......The BJP also needs to reach out not just to Hindus, but also to Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains because these are sanatan dharma religions as well.....
