  1. McCain. Palin compliments his stance and views. Biden was chosen simply because he is an effective attack dog. He doesn't mesh well with Obamas "change" message which his followers have clearly latched onto.

It can be said that Obama made his pick purly for negative reasons, McCain chose Palin for positive ones.

  2. McCain with Palin by far.  She has EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE, something both people on the dem ticket lack.  She's a woman, and she's pro life.  She also pleases the conservative base.

Obama, however, choose poorly with Biden.  How can you preach a message for change when you're second in command is a Washington inside vet of 30 years?  Also, he picked someone to cover his *** on his lack of foreign policy experience.  It's also not smart to pick a vp that is by far better qualified then you are.

  3. Definitely Obama.  Biden is one of the best civil servants we have in this country.  Palin looks like an election year gimmick.

  4. Time will show it is McCain with Palin.^

  5. Obama's choice made us question the back-room politics with the Clintons, and most of us realize there was no way to share power with Hillary without Bill in the mix.

His choice of Biden made us think that he was backfilling the things he lacks, specifically foreign policy and deep experience. At the end of the day, his choice was judged sound. Biden can go out tomorrow and attack McCain, and be effective at it. Palin won't even get  to lay a glove on Obama.

McCain's selection (if it was his, actually) makes us further question his judgement. In Palin he has singlehandedly eliminated the argument of lack of experience and youth. Plus, now he must sell her to the public. His limited campaign time will be spent introducing her and making the case for her value to voters.  He even has to sell her to his own white male base! What has he gained for the steep cost he must pay? Very little, because Hillary did a fine job of moving her support to Obama.

In two weeks Palin will sound shrill and ignorant. She'll be revealed for the small-town bantam weight she is. And the image of Alaska will suffer--not only the indignities of Ted Stevens and a bridge to nowhere, but it will be shown as the oil-rich backwater it truly is.

    Thus, McCain's judgment is questionable.

  6. OBAMA HANDS DOWN

  7. Obama with Biden. I don't like the guy, but it's better than choosing Palin.

  8. Choosing Biden, who is a long term Washington insider and a very divisive figure on top of it doesn't exactly resonate with "Hope and Change"!!!

  9. McCain, by far. Palin is the toast of the world right now.

  10. Obama.  Palin is seriously a joke.

  11. Obama... Obama could have easily picked Hilary for the sole purpose of getting her voters. Obama didn't because he knew Hilary is used to being in charge and they would not have made a good running team. McCain is an a.s.s whose sole purpose for picking this woman is to sway Hillary voters. Sneaky tactics like this show you people's true character. Obama is a true leader.

  12. McCain.  Biden is on video saying he supports McCain and that Obama is not ready to be president.

    Biden:

"I don't believe he is [ready]. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job-training."

  13. Obama-Biden. Home-run!

  14. mccain with palin

  15. I think both chose what they needed. Obama needed credentials in foreign policy. McCain needed a strong Conservative.

  16. McCain did, with all the women that are mad about obama not picking clinton this will help some. Also he need someone that could help with the more  Conservative crowd, she's for drilling, a member of NRA and prolife it also shows the rebulicans are supporting women.  Obama did make a good choice he need someone with experence but that experence should be president not vice president but McCain's is much better.

  17. They both picked the candidate they thought would help them win.  However, Biden has a little more negatives against him then Palin has.
