There is a metal song called “Bounce” … who sings it?

So? They've been around for a long time, like 10 years or so. Did you even try listening to their song before totally dismissing it? It was released on their 2001 CD: that was 7 years ago.

However, if you're absolutely positive that it's not SOAD, then the only other metal sounding song with this name that I could find is "The Bounce" by Hadouken!

I really think it is SOAD. You say it's metal; their songs fall under the "metal" category... You're sure that the song you're looking for is at least 7 years old, and SOAD's song is. "Obscure" is the word that you'd describe the band to be; that couldn't be a better way to describe SOAD.
