I watched a commercial for Lincoln and it was a female singing David Bowie's "Space Oddity" Ground control to major tom.

Also who sings the Credence Clearwater song "I want to know, have you ever seen the rain" for the General Electric commercial about wind and rain energy technology. She has a very pretty folk singer sound
